Thomas Edward Trinder (24 March 1909 - 10 July 1989) was an English stage, screen and radio comedian whose catchphrase was "You lucky people!".
Tommy Trinder was born at 54 Wellfield Road, the son of Thomas Henry Trinder, a London tram driver from Shilton, Oxfordshire, and his Scottish wife Jennie Georgina Harriet.
In 1990 a Streatham Society plaque was unveiled on the house in Wellfiield Road by Roy Hudd.
